GolfNews - The first ever unit to live-broadcast Golf at SEA Games 31st

For the first time in SEA Games’ history, golf will be live broadcasted in all 6 days of the competition.

Hosting the SEA Games for the second time, Vietnam has included golf in the list of sports competitions at the Southeast Asian Games. This is a valuable recognition of the General Department of Sports and Physical Training  due to the recent outstanding growth of golf in Vietnam.

GolfNews will live broadcast all 6 days of competition at SEA Games 31st.

In spite of having been competed many times previously at SEA Games, golf has never been televised live and golf-loving fans were not able to fully enjoy the tournament. However, at SEA Games 31st, everything is going to change when Vietnam will be the pioneer in broadcasting golf live on television and GolfNews is the unit chosen to carry out this task.

With the rich experience of live broadcasting many golf tournaments in the country in recent years. GolfNews has become a familiar channel for domestic golf lovers whenever they want to watch a golf tournament live. Since the beginning of 2022, with new investment in both equipment and staff, GolfNews has successfully live broadcasted two major tournaments of the Vietnam Golf Association which are the Lexus Challenge and the National Golf Championship. Through many surveys, Vietnam Television has entrusted GolfNews to be the unit to live broadcast the golf competition days at SEA Games 31st to transmit back to the international television center. At the same time, GolfNews will also live broadcast on their familiar platforms such as GolfNewsTV, Fanpage and Youtube channel: for audiences all over the country.

Being the first time to live broadcast golf at SEA Games, GolfNews is focusing all of its personnels to install equipment, prepare gears, devices and employees in order to best convey the tournament’s progress in 6 days of competition. (from May 13th to 18th) at Dam Vac golf course.
